Pyramid Schemes

Turn $6 into $15000 in 30 days? How about you turn your $6 into a $50,000 fine and perhaps a jail sentence? The famous pyramid schemes using mail or paypal to send $6 to 6 people than place your name on the list. They work like this:

1) Name
2) Name
3) Name
4) Name
5) Name
6) Name

Some people don't like that because they don't see one dollar as profitable, so they will redo this and place 3 names on the list, usually three of there own names, and say mail $2 to each person.

You would send 1$ to each name on the list, then bump everyone up one and your become number 6. Then you post your new list in 200 message boards hoping that people read it, send you money then do the same. Now first off, why would i send you money if i can just add my name, second why cant i delete it off and add 6 of my names, third, if i can do that, why can't anyone else? Which is why these do not work, first, they are illegal no matter how much people try to make you think they are not. Paypal will delete your account, and you may be fined.

Any Exchanging money like this is illegal and you may even end up in jail. Yes you may send your $6 out to be honest and place your name on the list, but lets hope there are enough people out there that send you money before you need it to make bail or pay a fine. If you post messages like this in message boards, you will get banned from the boards, you will get flamed, and some people will nicely tell you that this isnt the subject where you should be posting it at...others wont be as nice.

So please if you see chain letters going around about "Turn $X into $XXXXX as seen on oprah and 20/20" delete it and forget about it. Its not worth it and you wont make any money back.

I give these people a -1 out of 5. This is illegal and you will get your paypal deleted, your email deleted, any message boards you posted in they will ban you and delete your message. Not worth it.

On a second note think of it like this: Normally if people promote "this is not illegal, or do this and its not illegal" it probably is illegal.
